一、Introduction of the cooperative

In August 2008,"Wang Xian paper-cut studio" was established; in March 2012,"Ansai Wang Xian handicrafts cooperatives" was incorporated, to attract members of 25 people, became the first arts and crafts cooperatives in Ansai China. It’s flagship products are Ansai paper-cut and peasant paintings what are well-known in China.

二、Paper - cut artists and works

（一）Wang Xian

Famous folk paper-cut, painting master Wang Xian is the art director of cooperatives.She nurtured since childhood by Northern Shaanxi folk art, from the age of thirteen began to learn paper cutting and painting. Due to the absorption northern Shaanxi folk arts literacy and familiarity with people's lives, to make her creations formed a unique style, become famous contemporary Chinese folk artists.She has the responsibility of carry forward the Ansai folk art of the times China,and enhance the lifestyle of women, promote women's entrepreneurship income break a new path.

Her work fully embodies the characteristics of the Loess Plateau, but also has the personality of simple, beautiful, concise characteristics. The representative of "Yangko team", "Chinese Zodiac", "Wedding-Flower", "Go West" and other works are visual art of bodybuilding fresh, skillful performance.They are known as the "Loess Plateau ancient relics" by Chinese and foreign experts and scholars.

    （二）Hu Xiaoshan

Cooperatives’ legal person Hu Xiaoshan was affected by his mother Wang Xi'an , learned folk paper-cut and painting from childhood. Her paper-cut, Chinese peasant paintings won national and Shaanxi prize many times, are collected, indexed and public. She is the director of  Yan'an women Handicrafts Association.

Her paper-cut works "A Woman riding donkey", "Call it a day" which was created when 10 years old was included in a book《Ansai paper-cut》.In 2008, her peasant paintings, "A old man keeping eyes on birds" won the second prize in the Third Chinese farmer painting exhibition. In 2011,She was named the women's handicraft experts in Shaanxi Province.
