The Silicon Carbide rods are divided into two major categories with five different types in several hundreds of various specifications. 

The GC Type thick-tip Silicon Carbide rod has a nominal operating temperature of 1450 degree， 

and the low temperature infrared radiation element, has a nominal operating temperature below 600 degree. 

The GD Type constant-diameter Silicon Carbide rod is China’s first energy-saving new product with a nominal operating temperature of 1500 degree. 

The derivatives of the GD Types, GDC Type (grooved) and GDS Type (three-phase) constant Silicon Carbide rods provide convenient conditions for designing, installation and maintenance of electric ovens (furnaces).
